Kenneth Allen Polite, Jr. (born 1976) is the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana. ==Biography==
Polite was born in 1976 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended De La Salle High School in New Orleans. He received an artium baccalaureus degree in 1997 from Harvard University. He received a Juris Doctorate in 2000 from Georgetown University Law Center. He served as a law clerk to Judge Thomas L. Ambro of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, from 2001 to 2002. From 2002 to 2006, he served as an associate at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York City. He served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York, from 2007 to 2010.
